Ron Artest Miscellanea: Volume One
Here at The Count we’re big fans of Ron Artest.
Why? No, not just because it’s cool to like the guy who randomly assaults fans, or because it’s a little bit obscure or potentially ironic. We like Ron because he’s a bit misunderstood, a bit kooky and a top 10 both-ways NBA player.
Part of the reason we like Ron is because of the inexplicable stuff that he seems to do all of the time; you may have seenThe Snake Eggs our side bar explaining the role of Ron’s PA and major domo. It’s that sort of story that warms TSC’s heart, so we’ve decided to share our cardiac heat in the first installment of Ron Artest Miscellanea.
For our first item, strap yourselves in for 7 minutes of gold, as Ron Artest gets his Larry King On, interviewing an amused, confused and bemused, Kobe Bryant.
A couple of things to think about. Why is Ron Artest interviewing Kobe Bryant? That’s the first thing that doesn’t make sense in this altogether oddball scenario.
The second major highlight is Ron’s journalist outfit, which consists of him in a suit and a backwards baseball cap. It really makes you wonder why humans wear anything else — it really is that good.
Hoping you’ve enjoyed Ron’s journalism, stay tuned for our next post, when we explore Ron Artest’s roots as a campaigner for animal rights.

God, I hope Ron gets a broadcast job post-NBA.
Even if it with’s Vice TV.
