The Point Guard Shuffle: Warriors Offer Gilbert Arenas A Max Contract, Wizards Respond
In case the Baron Davis movement wasn’t exciting enough, this wild 24 hours of free-agent dealings just got even hotter, with reports that the Golden State Warriors offered Gilbert Arenas a max contract just hours after Baron Davis opted out.

The Sport Count wishes we could make this much cash from blogging.
However, the same source reports that the Wizards immediately responded with a 6-year, $124M+ deal in a bid to keep Arenas in Washington. One would imagine that with the 4-year deal inked with Antawn Jamison on Monday, Arenas would be swaying towards a stay in the District of Columbia. But this is the NBA: Where Amazing Happens.
